Welcome

President’s Message from Betty Avalos

During 2023-24, the Redbud Garden Club will focus on gaining more knowledge about growing plants from seeds and cuttings. Our goal is to improve plant production for the annual plant sale, community gardens and our own personal gardens. Master Gardener presentations will provide valuable information as we continue to nurture our seedlings and cuttings throughout the year.

Expanding the Redbud membership base is another primary goal. We will continue to personally reach out to potential members, and post activities on the Redbud Garden Club website, Face Book, and the Three Rivers Together e-mail group.

The community native plant gardens were reviewed at the beginning of 2022-23 and improvements will be made as we continue to monitor them throughout the year. In addition to the annual plant sale, the gardens give our members an opportunity to share their knowledge about plant selection and responsible gardening techniques with the Three Rivers community.

I would like to extend a warm welcome to our new and returning members. Vice-Presidents Liz Nanney, Christine Sell-Porter and Karen Dennis have planned a schedule of fun and educational activities for 2023-24. I’m looking forward to working with you and serving as your president.

Do  you want to interact with others who share your love of gardening?
